Near Far Drill
The Near Far Drill is designed to improve target transitions, visual focus changes, and precision under time pressure. This large-format A3 landscape target combines multiple large "near" aiming points with smaller "far" aiming points, forcing shooters to constantly adjust their sight picture and shift focus between easy and demanding targets. A common drill is to engage the small targets from left to right, immediately transition to the large targets, and then alternate between near and far targets as quickly and accurately as possible. The varying target sizes help develop faster target acquisition, smoother transitions, and improved shot discipline. Ideal for pistol and rifle shooters, the Near Far Drill can be adapted to different distances, skill levels, and training goals. Whether used for speed work, accuracy training, or competitive shooting practice, it provides a simple but highly effective way to build real-world marksmanship skills. Format: A3 Landscape (Horizontal) Best For: Target transitions, sight acquisition, speed and accuracy training, pistol and rifle practice.
